Socialization
|
|
There's no place like home! If your child can't be home with
family, our
goal is to make Adventure Time feel like "home". |
|

|
Our
professionally
trained teachers know how to greet your child each morning and start
the
day off with a warm welcome. You'll see lots of hugs and efforts to
link
home and school experiences.
It's remarkable to witness what
personal
attention does to create a safe, happy environment. Learning to
trust
other caring adults is a great step towards your child's social progress
at Adventure Time.

|
|
Teachers encourage children to work in pairs and small groups throughout
the day to strengthen socialization through communication and problem
solving skills. Great confidence is found as your child forms bonds
of
friendships and realizes how valued she is in building unity within the
group. |
|
|
|
Many of the children at Adventure Time continue relationships
with their classmates outside of class. We love to see party
invitations
go out and play dates set and children sharing stories about their
"best
friends" at school to mom and dad. |

|
TEACHERS
will recognize and praise children for healthy social behaviors.
With minds and bodies active, our excellent curriculum and positive
guidance techniques virtually eliminates the need for discipline.
Children are engaged with the tasks before them and teachers reinforce
desired behaviors. Don't we all love to hear our name attached to
something positive? 'Look at Jacob, he is turning the pages so
carefully!' Our rules are carried out consistently and fairly.
|
|
Each
child knows what is acceptable and what is not, and rises to that
expectation. |
