Socialization

Don't be shy, we're all friends in Kindergarten.

Our average Kindergarten classroom ratio is 15:1 which allows for class unity, friendship and bonding.

Because our kindergarten classes are full-time, the environment forms consistency and continuity and thus encourages strong friendships among the children, like brothers and sisters. These relationships create a feeling of being connected to a "family" environment.

Teachers encourage children to work in pairs and small groups throughout the day to strengthen socialization through communication and problem solving skills.

Great confidence is found as your children form bonds of friendships and realize how valued they are in building unity within the group.  Many of the children at Adventure Time continue relationships with their classmates outside of class.  We love to see party invitations go out and play dates set and children sharing stories about their "best friends" at school with mom and dad.

Teachers will recognize and praise children for healthy social behaviors.

With minds and bodies active, our excellent curriculum and positive guidance techniques virtually eliminate the need for discipline.  Children are engaged with the tasks before them and teachers reinforce desired behaviors.

Don't we all love to hear our name attached to something positive? "Look at Jeremy, he always remembers to raise his hand when he wants to share the answer!"

Our rules are carried out consistently and fairly.  Each child knows what is acceptable and what is not, and rises to that expectation.
