I'm a Me!
The innocence of an
infant endows upon caregivers the honor of their complete trust. While
the emancipation of a toddler has freed them from this dependence and now
bellows, Me do it! and
whispers, but stay right here
just in case I need help. |
|
|
|
Participating in this progression is
a thrill. Adventure Time stays well under the state licensing
guidelines which limits the teacher-child ratios at 1:4. Two
caregivers working side by side allows for constant supervision and
interaction.
|
|

|
Guarding these standards helps maintain the individual
needs of infant and toddlers while boosting their confidence in this
internal tug-of-war between dependence and independence.
Small
groups enable us to truly nurture the social, emotional and mental health
of children. |
|
Infants and toddlers are learning vitally important
SOCIAL SKILL such as expressing
emotions, verbalizing needs, parallel
play,
and trusting other children and adults.
Like a breath of fresh
air, Adventure Time TEACHERS
are first and foremost,
"nurturers." |
|
We understand the difficult position of
placing your young child in another adult's trusting care. Parents
and children find comfort and security in what they grow to know as
"my child's teacher", "my friend."
Infants and
toddlers learn to reach out to others in another stage of social growth.
They may have to leave "mommy" or "daddy" for a
little while, but learn they will soon be back and "teacher loves me
too!"
|

|
|
Our warm loving atmosphere gives these children a feeling
of security that helps each child get through the physical separation from
their parents until that happily anticipated family reunion at the end of
each day.
