Schedule of the Day
We all march to a different drum!
As a parent, you know that an INFANT'S NEEDS are
endless. You may
ask, 'how
on earth could all of my child's needs be met with out me?'
Quite
simply, they can't.
Together parents and teachers create a
TEAM
approach to bridge the gap between 'home' and
'home away from
home.' Feeding, sleeping, playing, and diapering schedules will
depend on the needs of each child.

Under our program requirements,
caregivers must verify that they have carefully attended to these basic
physical needs through documentation.
Our teachers go to great lengths to
inform each parent daily about the high quality care their child receives.

We record results of an hourly diaper check which ensures the
ever-important clean diaper. The "Daily Infant Report"
also documents portions of food consumed, sleep patterns, and any
medication administered.
We also provide each parent with
informative "Daily Parent Notes" to share in the celebration of
triumphs and highlights of their child's day.
One excerpt might
read:
"Mirror, mirror on the wall, who's the fairest of them
all?....ANNIE! Everyone enjoyed the outrageous faces Annie
made at herself in the mirror. Teacher Melody joined in the charade
and they ended up playing 'Peek-a-Boo' together with their reflections.
What a great way to work on our goals for increasing her
understanding of object permanence and body awareness in such a
spontaneous, silly way!"

As infants mature and become toddlers,
our schedule becomes more structured to help them transition into the two
year old classroom and our theme-based preschool curriculum.
Toddlers
between the ages of 18 months and two years will join daily for
"Gathering Times". A gradual introduction to toilet
training awareness also enables children to graduate" into the two
year old classroom completely toilet trained.
As understanding
increases teachers find that introducing concepts and watching the sparks
fly can be extremely rewarding.
